How to improve the quality of CDs? How to restore the pleasure
of listening to your favorite music recordings?
The main reason for the lack of satisfaction from listening to
your favorite music is the poor quality of the recording - disc
or file. No equipment and no speakers will help here - the most
important thing is the quality of the source, the recording
itself.
Even the best speaker set, CD player, amplifier
or cables cannot compensate for the quality of the musical
material. Yes, it can help, but it will also mercilessly expose
all the flaws of the recording.
No equipment will be able
to provide us with satisfaction if the disc is made flat and
plastic. This leads to frequent situations when lovers of good
music do not listen to many of their records, just because the
quality of their recording is low. Such records are not suitable
for listening on high-end equipment, which immediately exposes
their shortcomings, discouraging us from listening and causing
even the most beloved records from school days to lie useless,
and we constantly reach for those modernly produced with
abundant sound, loud and clear.
This leads to listening
(and searching) for equipment and quality, not music. And yet
Hi-Fi technology was created to allow the listener to enjoy
their favorite music in such quality as if the performer was in
the privacy of his room. This separates us from the experience
of the highest artistic test of listening to the music of
Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and all the geniuses of classical
music, whom we could rediscover if the records with their music
sounded satisfying. But also so many records from the turbulent
period of development of jazz, rock or pop could please our ears
again if they sounded as good as some of the contemporary
realizations. Groups such as Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Genesis,
Queen, and the list goes on and on, are examples of incredible
musical talent, but the quality of their recordings is far from
what modern sound technology can offer. This puts us off
listening to their recordings, directing us towards musically
much weaker, but very well recorded albums by other artists.
Living Studio E.C.P. performs CD and file remastering at a
price of $/Euro 50 /disc or 15 for a single recording.
Due to the need to respect copyright, the condition is to send
the original CD. After the sound improvement process, such a CD
takes on a completely new dimension of sound color and opens up
completely new possibilities of insight into the musical world
of our favorite composers or bands, giving a lot of satisfaction
and pure joy of listening.
Below we present fragments of
completed CD remasterings
For example, the well-known and
loved Dire Straits Communique album from 1978.
The album
was recorded from November 28 to December 12, 1978 at the
Compass Point studio in Nassau, Bahamas. The mix was made in
January 1979 at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama, USA.
Producers included Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett, both
experienced engineers at the studio. Beckett (under the
pseudonym B. Bear) also contributed keyboards to some of the
tracks.

This is the American Warner Bross 1979 release.
I
would like to mention that there is a note on the cover:
"The music on this Digital Compact Disc was originally recorded
on analog equipment. We have tried to reproduce as closely as
possible
the sound of the original recording. However, the
Compact Disc, due to its high resolution, may expose the
limitations of the source tape."

For our part, we would like to inform you that
modern digital technology also allows us to significantly
improve the shortcomings of the source tapes and transfer them
to a completely different level of reception quality.

The CD remastering restored the quality and listening
pleasure of the album.
Many Genesis enthusiasts would
certainly be happy to return to their music. Especially after
the improved sound, examples of which are included below. The CD
is the original Atlantic release from 1986.

After the CD remastering process, the recordings gain a new
level of quality, giving more satisfaction from listening.
CD remastering restores
the satisfaction and contentment from listening to it.
We encourage you to do remastering of your favorite music.
The difference will be beyond expression and it will give you
years of pleasure of listening that is not limited by lack of
quality.
